The Czechs have been making this beer since the 13th century, American Budweiser started in 1876. The American Co. was motivated to make good beer like the Czech Budweiser and copied the successfulness. The Czech company was slow to use trademarks as they were still under an imperialist system. To buy the Czech Budweiser in the states, you will have to look for "CZECHVAR." |
