| Jana, our tour guide, explained how CARP is a favorite dish of the Czechs. There are many man made ponds for raising CARP. This dish is especially popular around Christmas time. SUPINA means "scales" in Czech....not sure about supinka. |

| We thought the carp restaurant would be something like "Joe Tesses" place on the Missouri River. We didn't know it would be a fancy restaurant with chandeliers! |

| Carp is cut in fingerlings....I did not get any bones! Mike got a few. The meal also included herbed mashed potatoes and a lemon & dill dipping sauce for the fish. |
